Why Rhema?

In Greek, the word rhema means "an utterance".  A rhema word can be received while reading your Bible, or through listening to the Holy Spirit through a person. Rhema is that which is or has been uttered by the living voice, a thing spoken, a word.  (Eph 6:17)

  • A rhema word through scripture can awakens our minds (spirit, soul and body) to truths regarding our personal life. A rhema word can reveal something to us that applies to a current situation or a need.

  • A rhema is a verse or portion of Scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention with application to a current situation or need for direction.

  • In essence, a rhema word can be timely and extremely valuable in our walk with God.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (II Timothy 3:16).
